Many of the major seed-corn companies use Tilt made by Ciba/Novartis
to combat rust (a basid.) in corn (a grass). You might give that
a try.............................

............or, better yet, introduce a mitosporic mycoparasitic
fungus that will attack the problem fungus but will not produce
sexual fruiting bodies or attack the grass plants. When you
figure out which species to use, be sure and let the rest of
us know ;)
