Volunteer moderator (was Re: spam and porn on this newsgroup)

Is there a way to have multi-moderators?  It would be a shame to not
get new messages posted for 4 or so days because the moderator is not
checking new messages.  Or you could have a trusted person sub in for
you when you go on vacation.
