I just want to share the following interesting phenomenon with you. During
my research involving dsRNA conferring hypovirulence in Cryphonectria
cubensis (Brazilian isolates), I found that the hypovirulence
characteristics (i.e. reduced growth rate, reduced conidiation, altered
colony morphology, etc.) are being more readily expressed when the cultures
are grown at 30*C than on 25*C (both cases on the same batch of MEA).
I am planning on investigating whether the two scenarios are affected by
dsRNA titre. Does anybody have any ideas on what might be happening?
