A. bitorquis is edible and good. I did eat it several times. Sometimes however old specimens are quite maggotty. And above all: You should be sure to have really got a. bitorquis and not a. xanthodermus: a. xanthodermus is similar to a. bitorquis, but a. xanthodermus is "yellowshing" when you cut it with a knife.
