Chantharellus and vivid dreaming

Twenty five years ago, when I was first served Chantharellus cibarus, I
experienced a night of extremely vivid and pleasant dreaming.  Since that
time, I have collected and served these chantrelles to many friends often
with a similar effect. 

Has anyone else noticed this interesting effect and is there a good
biochemical explanation for it?
