Yes. I have cut it into small pieces (1x1/2"), sauteed in butter, and then
frozen for up to 3 months anyway. I don't think drying this mushroom is a good
idea as it tends to get tougher. However, drying and powdering the mushroom to
produce a mushroom flour might be an acceptable alternative.
