truffles fd. 6/6/98

Found a good variety of truffles today, but no amounts to write home about.

Varieties include:

Tuber giganteum
Endogone lactiflua
Rhizopogon sps
Martellia sps
Barssia oregonensis
Hymenogaster parksii

All were found under full-canopy Douglas fir in a 20 year old plantation.

This marks the probably end of the season until October-November.
