There were collected for the express interest of displaying them at the 48th
annual Oregon Mycological Society Mushroom Show, to be held October 18, 1998
at the Tigard Armory, at 6700 SW Oak from noon to 5pm. In addition to
mushroom displays, there will be a display of truffles, cooking, and
cultivation.

Speaking of cooking, I just tried Cantharellus subalbidus for the first time.
EXCELLENT! Better IMHO than Cantharellus formosus, which most people on the
West Coast mistake for Cantharellus cibarius.
