mycologists working in the food industry, 'shroom' production or other
research labs, etc.

Identification of Aspergillus and Penicillium species
Course Dates: 12 - 14 October 1999
This course is designed for those working in the
pharmaceutical, food technology, mycotoxin
research, stored products and medical and veterinary
fields who wish to gain expertise in the
identification of the species of these two economically
important genera of fungi.
Culture Preservation Techniques for Bacteria and Filamentous Fungi
Course Dates: 8 - 10 November 1999
This course will be of interest to microbiology
technicians, laboratory managers and others
needing to maintain fungal or bacterial isolates. There
will be opportunities to see and work in the
Genetic Resources Collection which is one of the largest
service collections of filamentous fungi,
bacteria and yeasts in the world.
