POSTDOC IN FRUIT PATHOLOGY AND EPIDEMIOLOGY
A postdoctoral position is available in the Fruit Pathology Lab in the
Department of Plant Pathology, University of Georgia, Athens. The incumbent
will conduct research on epidemiology and integrated management of mummy berry
disease of rabbiteye blueberry (causal agent: Monilinia vaccinii-corymbosi). A
Ph.D. in Plant Pathology or a related discipline, a strong background in
epidemiology and statistics, and an interest in studying fungal ecology on the
field level are required. Must have excellent communication skills in oral and
written English. The position requires frequent travel to field sites in south
Georgia. The position is funded for two years and carries standard university
