RFI. New Species?

Hi there,
Been lurking by your fascinating ng and wondered if you could say what
the "new"-- "rediscovered"  fungus is in Kielder Forest. It was
mentioned on Radio 4 early one morning last week ,then wasn't
mentioned again. Typical!  It sounded like a slime of some sort, but I
only got the story secondhand. I have the Collins guide by Lange &
Hora but not much else.
