Heavy-metal contamination in humans

Anyone aware of any studies related to fungal treatment of humans
contaminated with cadmium? Got a friend who was exposed for many years
while working on BMW and Mercedes vehicles. Seems most of the bolts
and nuts are coated with cadmium, which would fly off as a powdery
dust when an air-gun was used on them. He's now trying to reduce his
cadmium content using chelation-therapy.

Also, any suggestions on control of an _unknown_ and currently
_unidentified_ lung infection, which may be fungal in nature? Keep in
mind this is a real (currently) live person.
