Could you please explain the relation between
"Fusarium culmorum CMI 14764, HLX 1503"
And
"Fusarium culmorum IMI 14764"
The CMI 14764 features in articles by Roy Greenhalgh et all. HLX presumably
stands for Atlantic research laboratory, Halifax, Canada. It is mentioned as
the producer of 3-A-Deoxynivalenol.
The IMI 14764 also mentioned as ATCC 26559; ACC 1731 and comes from NZ. It
is mentioned as the source of lesser trichothecenes but not of
3-a-Deoxynivalenol
Please help, are these two identical? and what do CMI, IMI stand for?
