Staff Fellowship in Computational Image Analyis of Human Functional
neuroImaging data

A staff fellowship is available beginning August, 1993 for studying
human brain function in relation to aging and such disorders as
Alzheimer's disease and other dementias using in vivo neuroimaging
techniques, such as positron emission tomography and magnetic
resonance functional imaging.  Responsibilities include generating and
implementing computer based data analysis techniques for neuroimaging
data, and participation in the writing and conducting of research
protocols.  Knowledge of Unix and C required; experience with SUN
workstations and statistics desired.  PhD or MD degree required.
Fellows work in the Laboratory of Neurosciences (S. I. Rapoport, M.D.,
Chief), Brain Aging and Dementia Section (M. B. Schapiro, M.D.,
Chief), National Institute on Aging, Bethesda, Md.  Starting salary
