Actually, I was also curious about this.  I checked into it and it seems
that there will indeed be a version slated for publication in 1994.  This
is, however, a scaled down book intended primarily for undergraduates and
laymen.  The 4th edition of the text, though, is scheduled tentatively for
publication and release in 1997.
