Heparin and Myasthenia

Question for the forum:

I recently had a patient with myasthenia who developed heparin induced
thrombocytopenia with type 2 thrombosis (TIA).  Has anyone in the forum
seen this before?  Literature searcy brought out that pharesis AND IV Immuno
globulin has been used in both conditions.  Is there any reason to suspect
that Myastenics are more prone to heparin induced platelet destruction?

Any thoughts appreciated.
