Occupational Therapy and Neuroscience

My girlfriend's an Occupational Therapist, she's interested in neurology and 
neuroscience related to the practice of Occupational Therapy e.g. how to 
increase motivation and attention, the most effective methods of teaching 
and learning. This is especially with regard to adults with severe learning
disabilities ('mental handicap').

Does anybody know of any relevant papers, on-line sources, mail lists or 
any other helpful info?
