POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE

This position will be available after 1 May 1994. It is at the VA
Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must be UNITED STATES
CITIZENS (a green card is not acceptable). The work is basic research
in the autonomic system. Micturition, defecation and sexual function
are studied in the rat. Neuroanatomical, neurophysiological and 
pharmacological techniques are applied to study the nervous system
underlying these functions.

The candidate should have some experience in neurosurgery, immuno-O
histochemistry, general pharmacology and the use of computers,
recorders and oscilloscopes in the gathering and analysis of
