The Department of Biology, McGill University, is seeking two
assistant professors: (1) an evolutionary molecular biologist;
(2) a molecular biologist studying general problems of cell and
developmental biology in a genetically well-characterized system
(see ads in Nature, 15 Sept. or Science, 16 Sept.). The purpose
of this note is to encourage neurobiologists who fit these
descriptions to apply. The deadlines are 15 Nov. for the
evolutionary molecular biologist, and 25 Nov. for the molecular
biologist. Send a CV, statement of research interests, reprints,
and arrange for three references to be sent to: Dr. Robert

Docteur Penfield, Montreal, Quebec, Canada H3A 1B1. In accordance
with Canadian immigration requirements, priority will be given to
