Unidirectional connections

It seems that the neuro connections between various brain parts and
areas are reciprocating, so signalling travels in both directions
between, say, the hippocampus and the cortex.

Are there brain areas that are known to be connected only
unidirectionally? What about the dorsal-prefrontal to locus
coeruleus connection? The thalamic relay nuclei to primary cortical
sensory areas?

Leads, hints, answers, references most appreciated as it shortens my
search time considerably, thanks.
