Familial Tremors??? What to do about them

My mother is suffering from occasional "Kathryn Hepburn-like" head
tremors.  Her doctor hastily dismissed Parkinsons, MS and other serious
conditions.  Her only other existing condition is Glaucoma.  For this she
is taking - timoptics and iopidine.

Could there be any correlation between these conditions and prescriptions?

Is there a way to eliviate or at least lesson the tremors?

Which neurological tests should be prescribed?
