Of course methanol is a narcotic, but so is Betty Martini posting to 
Usenet. You need to understand the meaning of the word in the context 
it's being used in. Both Betty and methanol are capable of inducing 
stupor and drowsiness. Of course it'll take a hell of a lot of broken down 
nutra-sweet to do that to you, while it only takes a small dose of Betty.
