Not knowing specifically what "neuroscience" lab method you are interested in, I might suggest you try looking at the NEUROMETHODS series edited by Alan Boulton and Glen Baker I believe. Each volume deals with a specific area of interest and I think they are up to about a dozen by now (I believe it is published by HUmana Press)
