Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation

This is a question to depression experts.


The cover-story of the october issue of "Science et Vie", a 
well-known french monthly journal, was devoted to a 
revolutionary Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Apparatus, 
commercialized by a company called The Magstim in UK. It
is being tested in about 50 french hospitals, with 
positive results for patients suffering from depression.
The article states that this approach is much less destructive
than electric shocks, and seems to work even in cases when
Prozac has no effect on the patients.

Should I believe this article?
