There are pro's and con's for student use of the net.  One thing that 
must be considered is that this method of information retrival is not for 
the typical student.  In some respects it represents flying without a 
pilot's license.  Gathering info out here requires the ability to 
synthesize data very well.  This is an ability that takes time to 
develop.  I think it is reasonable to use caution in this area.
