Conference to be held November 12-15, 1996, at the Sheraton

The mechanisms underlying the development of Alzheimer's disease are
not well understood. This conference brings together experts at the
forefront of new research focusing on the role of the
cerebrovasculature in the pathogenesis and evolution of Alzheimer's
disease.
There are two central questions for discussion at this conference. The
timing of cerebrovascular changes versus clinical onset of Alzheimer's
disease and the temporal relationship of amyloaid deposition in
vessels and cerebral tissue.
Deadline for submission of poster abstracts is September 12, 1996. The
abstract, including title, author(s), and affiliations must be typed
