The latest edition of Neuron (Jan or Feb 1996, not sure which)
contains a short "meta-analysis"-type literature review on the role of
the cerebellum in cognition, by Julie Fiez.  I remain agnostic, but
the quantity of literature about this has certainly been increasing.
