Parkinsons/Selegiline - Brit Med J.

I have a familial interest in Parkinson’s Disease.  I read the 
recent Brit Med. Journal article (Dec, 16/95 vol 311 pp1602-1607) 
which indicated a significant increase in Mortality with patients 
taking Selegiline.  I’ve subsequently heard a rumour where the 
data has been challenged.  Can anybody tell me if the data has 
been challenged and on what basis.
