Hi! Does anybody know why so many nerve fiber bundles decussate in CNS? I mean, is there any functional reason for that? Wouldn't be the same if nerve fiber bundles just travelled through the CNS without crossing the middle line? Thanks in advance. Ciao Albertino Bigiani
