This is what the Perkins, Fitzgerald, & Moss (1995) Hormones and Behavior 
article seems to imply. The mechanisms involved presumably are olfactory 
and the endocrinological evidence is that of luteinizing hormone and 
testosterone responses in homosexual male rams.
