CELL CULTURE FOR NEUROSCIENCE

A 5-day training course with lectures, demonstrations and 25
hours of hands-on practical work under supervision. Will suit
neuroscientists wishing to learn basic and advanced primary culture
methods and scientists with tissue culture experience who are moving
to Neuroscience.
The aims of the course are to introduce researchers to good tissue
culture practice and to become experienced in a variety of methods
and overcoming technical problems. Participants will learn handling
of neural cell lines and 8 primary culture techniques plus appplications
including viral transduction and patch clamp recording.
