The National Spinal Cord Injury Association Launches Community on the
World Wide Web
Silver Spring, MD - February 6, 1997 - The National Spinal Cord Injury
Association (NSCIA) launched Spinalcord.org - their interactive
community on the World Wide Web. Spinalcord.org, found on the Web at
http://www.spinalcord.org, is a premier Internet destination for
people seeking information, referral and support on spinal cord
injury.
Spinalcord.org provides access to the most popular of NSCIA¹s
resources which include Common Questions about Spinal Cord Injury, How
to choose a Rehabilitation Facility, and What¹s New in SCI Research,
and also NSCIA¹s 50 nation-wide chapters, support groups and
developing chapters. Visitors can also post questions to the National
Spinal Cord Injury Resource Center (NSCIRC) which has over 60,000
pieces of information.
