Which computer for pClamp?

We have recently purchased an Axon Instruments amplifier and pClamp
data acquisition package. We now need to get a computer.  My question is
which computer should I use, a 486 or a pentium.  Are there any advantages to
buying a new pentium?  Someone told me that pClamp does not work so well on
a pentium.  Is this true?


The version od pClamp is 6.0.3
