Salvinorin A does not bind to cannabinoid receptors

This has been recently discovered thanks to Professor Raphael
Méchoulam who accepted my idea to investigate the effects of
salvinorin A on cannabinoid receptors.
Purified salvinorin A was provided by D.Siebert,on my suggestion,to
Prof.Raphael Méchoulam.
Then he assayed salvinorin A with cannabinoid receptors
and,interestingly,found no affinity.
So the mechanism of action of this oneirogen still remains elusive.
