the Forth programming language -- a traditional choice for robots:

Although the theory behind Mind.forth includes a plan for vision,
as worked out by Hubel and Wiesel in their Nobel-quality research
and as diagrammed above in the system flow-chart of Mind.forth AI,
vision is too complicated for inclusion in the original pdaimind.
