There is an immediate job opening at the University of California, San
Francisco in a neuroimaging research group.  The successful applicant will have
at least a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field, with a
Master's degree preferred.  Additionally, the applicant must have strong
computer skills (preferably in the Windows NT / Windows 95 environment), very
strong organizational skills, an interest in neuroimaging research and in
neuroanatomy.  This position is suitable for someone desiring to build a career
in this lab as part of our neuroimaging technical management team.   
	The job involves an initial training period during which the incumbent will
master the image processing programs currently in use in the lab, and will be
directly responsible for processing image data.   Once the incumbent has
mastered the image processing suite,  job duties will expand to include
coordination of work-flow for the image processing group (2-5 people), and
coordination of quality control and data integrity.  The starting salary ranges
from approximately $31, 000-$40, 000 year, depending on education and
