POST-DOCTORAL POSITION

A new opening is available for a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of
Biological Sciences at Wayne State University.   Research will involve the
development of Neurodegenerative disease models in the fruitfly
Drosophila.  You will use an extensive array of genetic, molecular biology
and immunological techniques to analyze the function of genes related to
human Neurodegenerative disorders.  You should have a Ph.D. in
neuroscience, genetics or molecular biology and show evidence of ability
to publish.  Candidates with previous experience working with Drosophila
are especially encouraged to apply.  

Wayne State University is a large academic research institute situated in
Detroit, Michigan (USA).  Post-doctoral fellows are eligible for on campus
housing.  In addition several outlying communities within 30 min. of the
campus offer affordable housing (to rent or purchase) and great school
systems.
