Info request: effects of neural tissue stimulation

Regarding the resistance of human neural tissue, there are various
factors (ionic concentrations across the membrane, physical construct of
the membrane, etc.) which would effect the figure.  A reasonable mean
figure for the specific resistance of a nerve cell membrane would be 103
- 105 ohm/cm2 .  Synthetic membranes typically have a higher (~107 )
specific resistance.
