Postdoctoral position: Neurophysiology

A position will be available in Dr. Benjamin Rusak's laboratory for a
postdoctoral researcher starting January, 1999, for a period of at least
two years. The individual should be capable of conducting
neurophysiological research independently. Experience with in vitro and/or
in vivo single-unit neurophysiological recording methods and
neuropharmacology are required. In addition, research experience related to
biological rhythms or the visual system would be helpful. The position will
involve primarily neurophysiological studies related to the mechanisms
underlying biological rhythmicity in mammals, but the opportunity also
exists for involvement in behavioural, anatomical and molecular biological
studies related to this topic. This position is available immediately for
qualified Canadian applicants or for those of any nationality in their
first two postdoctoral years. Others may apply at this time and will be
