to your excellent point, i'll add that there's a big difference between being in
the thick of a "conversion" (T. S. Kuhn's term) struggle, and just bashing what's
'old'.
the pointing-out of flaws in what's =currently= accepted, and pointing-to
'improvements' is 'just' part of doing Science, although it's 'difficult' no matter
which 'side' one's on.
