I knew the somata of neurons could been well shown by Nissle's or other stains. Now I want to know how I can tell neurons from neuroglia cells. The mRNA of somatostatin, one of neuromodulator, could been seen in somata of some neurons by in situ hybridization. Is it true in neuroglia cells? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion.
