K+ current in skeletal muscle

Adrian, Chandler, and Hodgkin (1970) described the action potentials of
frog sartorius muscle and fit the currents to the HH model with m^3h n^4
kinetics.
They reported however that The K+ current had a reversal of 20 mV positive
to EK.
Does anybody know what the eventual explaination for the was?
