updated rehab methods for old strokes (new findings)

I am an OT, and have a patient who suffered a right CVA over 10 years ago.  
She has mentioned new research she has heard about regarding success with 
rehabing the affected extremities of older strokes. (restricting nonaffected 
side, etc.) Does anyone have info????? Please respond, or direct me to the 
appropriate resource.  Thank you.
