No.  Households paid that money.  Who wrote the check was some member
of the household, unknown to us.  Who earned the money to pay the
check is similarly unknown to us.  The tax liability is incurred on
ALL income, however, whether it is the usually higher salary of the
husband or the lesser salary of the working wife, or the babysitting
money earned by the kids.
