[Neuroscience] Ph.D. Neuroscience vs. Ph.D. Cognitive Psychology

Hello,

I am about to start the process of applying to graduate school in the
U.S. I am graduating with a B.S. in Psychology.

I was wondering if anyone knows what the deal is with neuroscience vs.
cognitive psychology programs. A neuroscience program I am looking at
is not APA accredited, which is understandable because no neuroscience
programs are APA accredited, but not going into a program that is APA
accredited worries me. Should it?

Has anybody else gone through this situation?
