| What brain structure or function allows us to sense and manage the
| perception and sequence of time?
|
| I tried Google but have a hard time sorting through to the relevant bits.
"How's the 'time' of your T-bone steak?"
"Does that blossom have a pleasant 'time'?"
"How 'time' is that box you're carrying?"
"Phew! Those rotten-eggs 'time'!"
"Gow much 'time' does your sprained-ankle
give you?"
"Man! She's 'time'!"
"Man! I'm 'time'!"
"How much 'time' does your MP3-player use?"
"'time'-up, Man!"
Translations:
"How's the flavor of your T-bone steak?"
"Does that blossom have a pleasant fragrance?"
"How heavy is that box you're carrying?"
"Phew! Those rotten-eggs stink!"
"Gow much pain does your sprained-ankle
give you?"
"Man! She's beautiful!"
"Man! I'm hungry!"
"How much energy does your MP3-player use?"
"Stand-up, Man!"
Get it?
When one attends to the physical properties
that nervous systems experience and actualize,
'time' doesn't "fit".
'time' is used as a way of "connecting" the
relative-degrees of "coincidence" within
the energy-flows that nervous systems
"perceive", and which empower behavior,
consciousness, etc.
'time' is used only to "synchronize" within
folks' sequential communication dynamics.
'time' has no physically-real existence out-
side of this Communications problem.
It's a man-made concept that's "overlayed"
upon the 3-D Energydynamics that occur
within nervous systems -- so that folks can
effectively =communicate= with respect to
the 3-D Energydynamics that they col-
lectively experience -- so that such com-
munication is, itself, ordered in a way that
imparts 3-D Energydynamics within "re-
ceiving" nervous systems that more or
less "replicate" the 3-D Energydynamics
that stimulated the act of "communication"
within the "sending" nervous system.
If you do a Groups Google[tm] on:
"non-existence" + 'time'"
You should get some hits with respect
to how 'time' came to be Erroneously
considered to "be" a 'property of phys-
ical reality'.
'time' isn't.
This said, Periodicals that use "time" in
their Names should rest-assured in their
doing so -- be-cause what they're doing
is =Communication=, and 'time' is an
extremely-Useful ordering-principle with-
in all "Communication".
You know -- so that folks who exper-
inece the 3-D Energydynamics that're
Communicated don't, "Shoot first, and
ask questions later."
