Hi,
I´ve read some vague statements about the neuronal processing of the
visual system that is responsible for the vernier acuity or
hyperacuity. Does anyone have hard knowledge about how the visual
system produces this high acuity? Is it related to the orientation
sensitive columns of the visual cortex?
Best regards!
