The International Joint Conference on Neural Networks (IJCNN -
http://www.ijcnn2007.org/ www.ijcnn2007.org )
is the premier conference dedicated to the field of neural networks.
"Call For Paper" subjects that will be of particular
interest to the Nabble->Bio.net->Neur-sci community
include:

Computational neuroscience

Neural dynamics, complex systems, and chaos

Neuroinformatics

Connectionist cognitive science and cognitive modeling (language, reasoning,
	perception, learning, consciousness, emotion, etc.)

While the
detailed conference program will be set after paper acceptances
(~31Mar06), past IJCNNs have featured sessions on areas of interest
such as:

Models of Cortical and Subcortical Circuits

Functional Neuroimaging of Cortical and Subcortical Functions

Imaging and Cortical models

Models of Neurons, Local Circuits, and Systems (including spiking neuron
models)

Neural Modeling of Emotion

Reinforcement Learning Theory

Brain-computer Interfaces

The 2007
conference is sponsored by the International Neural Networks Society
(INNS) and co-sponsored by the IEEE Computational Intelligence
Society (IEEE-CIS), and it marks the 20th anniversary of this event.
To celebrate this important milestone the organizers of the
conference would like to reflect on past progress and also to inject
new energy into the field. In addition to covering all topics in
neural network research, IJCNN 2007 will feature world-renowned
plenary speakers, state-of-the-art special sessions, moderated panel
discussions, pre-conference tutorials, post-conference workshops,
regular technical sessions, poster sessions, and social functions.
The conference will provide an excellent venue to demonstrate the
great promise and the real substance behind recent advances in brain
inspired computation and the understanding of the brain.
