[Neuroscience] old book

I am looking for a book I use to own.  It was back in the late 80's or early 
90's.  I cannot remember the title or any thing else, except that the cover 
was white and had blue lettering.  It was used in a university to teach the 
mathematics of the neuron.
I know this is a strange request, but does any one know about what possible 
book I am taking about or how to find it?
