Don't know who you are or why this thread is up but I found it interesting enough to reply so I hope it's not a waste of time.

It just so happens that I have regular colds and always have done since I was little.  I'm going though a pretty bad one at the moment and everything seems to be linked to my nose, throat and ears.  I'm already partically deaf and I'm also dyslexic.
